Although NYC is in it’s phase 4, New York Park Department has suspended all permits till now. We are waiting for permits to be released.

USFC is eager, and prepare to open it’s program as soon as permits are validated. We are working tirelessly to provide safe environment for our young ones. As well known proverb states,”Better safe than sorry”. We will take all precautions to reopen safely.

We will post our gradual reopening schedule once we have our permits. Meanwhile, please review our waiver form below.

In this friendship tournament, all Interested great players from your great community and organizations are invited to participate in the 23rd Annual Basketball Tournament 2019.

अमेरिकी नेपाली समुदाय वीच एकता,आपसी सदभाव बडाउने र खेलको माध्यमबाट युवाहरुमा शारीरिक र मानसिक बिकास गराई सुन्दर समाज निर्माण गर्ने उदेस्यका साथ शेर्पा किदुगले बिबिध खेलहरु सम्मिलित दुई दिने बिर्हत शेर्पा किदुग वार्षिक खेलकुद प्रतियोगिता सफलतापुर्बक सम्पन्न गरिएको छ। दुई दिने उक्त कार्यक्रम अन्तर्गत गत सेप्टेम्बर १ मा फुटबल र भलिबलको पहिलो चरणको खेलहरु र सेप्टेम्बर २ मा सेमिफाइनल र फाइनल खेलहरुको प्रतियोगिता सम्पन्न गरेका थिए।

शेर्पा किदुगको शेर्पा भाषा र बौद्ध ढर्शन अध्ययनरत बिद्यार्थीहरुको बौद्ध मन्त्र उच्चारण, अमेरिका र नेपाली राष्ट्रिय गनका साथै किदुगका अध्यक्ष उर्गेन शेर्पाले मुख्य रेफ्रिलाई बल हस्तान्तरण गरी खेलको बिधिवत सुरुवात गरिएको उक्त बिर्हत खेल प्रतियोगितामा प्रमुख अतिथी नेपाली महाबाणिज्यदुत पुष्प भण्डारीको उपस्थिती रहेको थिए। बिभिन्न नेपाली समुदायका संस्थाहरुका खेलप्रेमिहरुको अपर सहभगिता रहेको उक्त कार्यक्रमको समापनमा किदुगका उर्गेन शेर्पाले बिगत २२ बर्षदेखि निरन्तार रुपमा आयोजना गर्दै आएको शेर्पा किदुग समर खेल प्रतियोगिता अहिले आएर अमेरिकी समुदायकै सबै भन्दा ठुलो र ब्यबस्थित खेल कार्यक्रम हुन आएको गौरब महशुस गर्दै यो कार्यक्रमलाई यो अवस्थासम्मा पु-याउनको लागि सहयोग गर्नु हुने सबै प्रति आभार ब्यक्त गरेका थिए। नेपाली समुदायमा किदुगका खेलकुद कार्यक्रमले भाईचारा, भात्रित्व, एकता र खेल मार्फत स्वास्थ्य र आदर्श समाज निर्माणको गर्नमा महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभएको र भबिस्यमा निरन्तरता दिने कुरा उल्लेख गरे। किदुगका प्रबक्त पेम्बा गेलु शेर्पाले किदुगका खेलकुद कार्यक्रम आयोजनाका लागि सहयोग गरेका सम्पूर्ण सहयोगीहरुलाई धन्यवाद दिदै किदुगको बिभिन्न रचनात्मक कार्यक्रमहरु मध्ये खेलकुद कार्यक्रम महत्वपूर्ण रहेको र यसले अमेरिकामा नेपाली समाजको एकतालाई बालियो बनाउने काम गरेको उल्लेख गर्नु गरे।

न्यूयोर्कको रेन्डल अाइल्यन्ड र क्विन्ज ब्रिज पार्कमा आयोजना गरिएको खेल प्रतियोगितामा फुटबलतर्फा २७ समुह र भलिबल तर्फ ९ समुहले गरी करीब ७०० भन्दा बढी खेलाडीहरुले भाग लिएका थिए। अमेरिककै नेपाली समुदायबिचको सबै भन्दा ठुलो र ब्याबस्थित खेल प्रतियोगिताको कार्यक्रमको रुपमा चिनिन्दै आएको भोलिको खेल प्रतियोगिता बिबिध मनोरन्जात्मक खेलहरुको समेत आयोजना गरिएको थियो।

३५ बर्षमुनिको फुटबल प्रतियोगितामा एनवाइएफसी टिमले च्याम्पियनसीपको उपाधि प्राप्त गरे भने दोस्रो उपाधि सुनी टिमले प्राप्त गरे। यस समूहमा यस वर्षको फेयर प्लेयर टिमको उपाधि पारुहाङ लिम्बु र गुरुङ टिमले पाए । बेस्ट गोलकिपरको उपाधि एनवाइएफसी छिरिङ दोङ लामाले पाए र गोल्डेन बुट एनवाइएफसीका सागर गुरुङले प्राप्त गरे।

त्यस्तै महिलाहरु वीचको प्रतियोगितामा युनाइटेड शेर्पा वुमन टिमले एसएमटि टिमलाई ६ -0 सुन्यले पराजित गरि च्याम्पियन बन्यो भने एसमडी टिम उपविजेता भए। महिलाहरु बीचको प्रतिस्प्रर्धामा बेस्ट गोलकिपरको उपाधि एसएमटिका डोमा शेर्पाले हात पारिन् भने युनाइटेड शेर्पा वुमेनका लक्ष्मी पौडेल र उषा भण्डारीले धेरै गोल हानेर गोल्डेन बुट उपाधी पाएकी थिइन ।

३५ बर्षमाथिको च्याम्पियनसीप उपाधि सुनी टिमले प्राप्त गरे भने ग्याल्सुम्दा दोस्रो बन्यो । यो उमेर समूहमा उत्कृष्ट खेलाडीको उपाधि सुरज गुरुङ बने भने फेयर प्लेयर टिमको उपाधि मुस्ताङ किदुग एफसीले प्राप्त गरे।

 

भलिबल प्रतियोगिताको च्याम्पियनसीप उपाधि म्याग्दी समाजले प्राप्त गरे भने दोस्रो रनरअप उपाधि सिन्धु टिमले प्राप्त गरे। प्रतियोगितामा उत्कृष्ट खेलाडीको उपाधि सिन्धुका कुन्साङले पाएका थिए।

शेर्पा किदुगले प्रतियोगितामा फुटबलतर्फ पहिलो हुनेलाई ३५ सय डलर र दोस्रोलाई १ हजार डलर प्रदान गरेको छ । त्यस्तै भलिबलमा पहिलो हुनेलाई १ हजार डलर र दोस्रो हुनेलाई ५ सय डलर प्रदान गरेका छ । फाइनल प्रतियोगितासँगै क्विन्सब्रिज पार्कमा किदुगले दिउँसो बालबालिकाका लागि चम्चामा गुच्चा राखेर दौडिने प्रतियोगिता, सहाभागीबीच डोरी तान्ने, छेलो हान्ने र महिलाका लागि म्युजिकल चेयर प्रतियोगिता गराएका थिए। करिब दुइहजार दर्शकहरुको सहाभागीबीच क्विन्सव्रिज पार्कमा भएको खेलमा सहाभागीबाट खानेकुरा पकाएर ल्याउनेलाई पनि किदुगले विशेष पुरस्कार प्रदान गरेका थिए।

डायस्पोरा अमेरिकी नेपाली समाजमा अत्यन्तै लोकप्रिय किदुगका यस बर्षका खेल संयोजन किदुग खेलकुद बिभाग संयोजक फुर्बा शेर्पाले गरेका थिए भने फुटबलका प्रथम पुरुस्कार गेल्जेन नुरु शेर्पा र भलिबलका प्रथम पुरुस्कार रेड पन्डा रेस्टुराँन्टका पासाङ शेर्पाले प्रायोजन गरेका थिए।
