was just wondering if anyone would be offended if you were addressed as bhote. I always wondered about this. I have tried to convince other by saying only the people from tibet are called bhotes. It's not that offensive to me but not so pleasant either. I take it as a term to identify mongolian looking people but don't know what the book says. What are your thoughts ??
