Nepal Sarkar le Gyalbo Losar ko laagi 2066 Falgun 2 gate February 14, 2010 Sunday Bida dine bhaye ko gosan gareko chha. Arko barsa 2067 sal ko calendar ma pani Gyalbo Losar ko laagi bida dine pahal bhai rkheko chha. Gyalbo Losar ko din Sarbajanik bida bhayeko khabar sabailai sunaunu hola.
Nepalese Government has announced public holiday for Gyalbo Losar on Feb 14, 2010 Sunday. Please inform to your friends that there is public holiday on the occasion of Gyalbo Losar.

Kaji dai,
Thanks for the information. But this is not really something exciting that we have to be proud of. One day holiday was granted since last few years. We are forced to take Dashain and Tihar vacation even if we do not celebrate. This vacation is at least for one week. But, why not we get one week vacation equivalent to Dashain and Tihar? This is direct assimilation of our cultural and religious practices. This proves that even this coalition government is violating the rights of indigenous peoples, it is against the ILO 169 and United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. Therefore, we need to contest for our rights and ensure that the government addresses this in the constitution.

काजी दाई इन्फर्मेसन को लागि दन्यबाद,तर सरकारले लोशर को बिदा दियो बन्दैमा हामी खुशी हुनु पर्ने जस्तो लाग्दइन किन बने नेपालमा सरकारी बिदा देरै बएर बिकास नबएको हो। सरकारी कर्मचारीहरु यतिकै अल्छि र जनता प्रती अनुतर्दायी बएको बेला एस्ले जन अल्छि कर्मचारी लाई मात्र राहत दिएको जस्तो लाग्छ।नेपालमा देरै जात्जती र आदिबासी जनजतीहरु छन र सबै जातीको आफ्नै सस्क्रिती र रितिरिवज छन,आफ्नो पहिचन र अस्थित्वको लागि बनेर सबैले आफ्नो चाडलाई मनाउन सरकारी बिदा माग गर्ने हो बने नेपालमा कहिले बिकास हुँदैन।त्यो माथि राजनीतिक दल हरुले गरेको बन्द र हततालले त जन समस्या ल्यएको छ। शायद नेपालमा ३६५ दिनमा ६५ दिन काम काज हुन्छ होला त्यसरी कसरी बिकास हुन्छ????के यस्मा हामी जिम्मेवार हुनु पर्दैन र ???के सरकारमा बस्ने महान नेता हरुले सोच्नु पर्दैन र ???के शेर्पा समाजमा बिकासबादी सोच लिएका नेताहरुले अली जिम्मेवार बएर सोच्नु पर्दैन र ????तेसैले मलाई लाग्छ यस्मा हामी खुशी र गर्ब हुनु पर्ने केही कारण छैन बरु दुखी हुनु पर्छ। किन बने यि सरकारी बिदाहरु बिकास बादक हुन। Developed देश्हरुमा हेर्ने हो बने सरकारी बिदा अत्यन्त कम हुन्छ तर गरीब देश्हरुमा ज्यादा बिदा, काम कम हुन्छ। यो मेरो ब्यक्तिगत बिचार मात्र हो कृपया अन्यथा नसोच्नु होला।अन्तमा संसार वर रहेका शेर्पा दिदी बहिनी तथा दाजु वाइ हरुलाई ग्यल्बो लोसर २१३७ को पवन अबसर मा हार्दिक शुभकामना!!!!!!!!

सर्वप्रथम त सम्पूर्ण शेर्पा आमा बुवा दिदी बहिनी दाजुभाईहरुमा
ग्यल्बो लोसार च्यक फो तक लो २१३७ को उपलक्षमा अग्रीम हार्दिक शुभ-कामाना
काजी किसान जी ! नेपाल सरकारले यस वर्ष पनि बिदा दियो भन्दैमा हामीले खुशी हुनु पर्ने कुनै कारण मैले देखिन, किनकी ! तपाईं आफै भन्दै हुनुहुन्छ अर्को वर्ष को लागी पनि पहल हुँदैछ भनेर ।
गएका लोसारहरुमा पनि हामीले नेपाल सरकारलाई यसरी नै बिदा मागेका थियौ र नेपाल सरकारले यसरी नै बिदा दिइएको थियो
अब एकैछिन सोच्नु त यस्तो बिदा पनि के बिदा लोसार आउँदै पछि बिदा पाउँ भनेर माग्नु पर्ने? कि कसो ? यस्तो पनि सर्वाजानिक बिदा ???????
हुन त तपाईं जस्तो बिधान बिपरित चुनिनु भएको नेपाल शेर्पा संघको केन्द्रिय सदस्यहरुलाई यस्तो कुरको के जनाकारी होला र तपाईंहरु जस्तो सदस्यहरुलाई शेर्पा समाज अगाडि कसरी खादा लाउन पाउछु र अरुले तपाईं भनोस् न भनोस् आँफैले आफुलाई मपाई भन्न मात्र जान्नेलाई ।
शेर्पा आमा बुवा दिदी बहिनी दाजुभाईहरु ! तर हामीले चिन्ता लिनु पर्ने पनि म देख्दिन, किनकी ! आउदो वर्ष भित्र संघिय नेपालमा शेर्पा स्वयत्ता प्रदेश निर्माण हुनेछ अनि हामी हाम्रो लोसार को बिदा हामी नै मिलाउने छौ , त्यसपछि नेपाल सरकार सँग हामीले आउदो लोसारहरुमा हिजोको जसरी बिदाको पहल गरी रहनु पर्ने जरुरी पर्दैन ।
त्यस्कारण हामी त्यो दिनको पर्खाई गरौ जुन दिन हामी हाम्रो ग्यल्बो लोसारको बिदा हामी आँफै बनाउछौ ?
त्यसै बेला हामी भब्यताको साथ खुशी मनाउ,कि कसो ???
अन्यथा नलिनु होला यो सबै शेर्पाको चाहना अनि भावना हो

First of all thank you mr kaji kisan & others for initiating & contributing to let Nepal sarkar to give & announce a public holiday on the occasion of gyalbo losar
2137.Until this year , we never got the public holiday on this occassion , so for me this is a one step great achievment though it's just for one day.but we all know , change can not be done at once. pahila ek din kai bidalai swagat garau,tespachhi pheri arko step chalau, jasto ki hami le bharyang chad da ekai choti 4-5 step ta chad dainau ni. tesaile je paudai chha teslai swikar gardai agadi badnu parchha, ra hamro samaj ma alikati matrai bhayepani contribution dine manchhe lai hamile appreciate garnu parchha na ki fake naam rakhera aafule pani kehi nagarne , arule kehi gareko chha bhanepani appreciate , protsahan ta kata ho kata, ajhai down garna khojnu mero bicharma hami sherpa haru ko bikas nahunu ko mukhya karan ho jasto lagchha. tesaile if you are a real sherpa, plz try to promote sherpa people even if the result is just 5%,

Dear Mingma Norbu Sherpa Ji, I agree with your total opinions. I think If we could mention Sherpa Swayatta Prades in the new constitution of Nepal then it ensures sherpa people rights. No one can force sherpas to celebrate Dasain and Tihar in the Sherpa Swayatta Prades. Let’s all put our best efforts to include Sherpa Swayatta Prades in the new state restructuring proposal in the new constitution of Nepal. Wishing you happy Taklo Losar !
Dear Europe Ji, Yes you are right to many holidays is not good for the prosperities of the country but the Hindu of Nepal are taking more holidays than us. Perhaps, we Buddhist have only 2 days holidays in a year (Buddha Jayanti and Losar). However thanks for the nice thought for our country Nepal. Happy Losar !
Dear Vailnima Ji, Thanks for your comments. Actually, I don’t take any comments personally and I regard each and every comments as individual’s opinion only. Honestly speaking I put the Losar holiday notice on the Sherpakyidug webpage not to express my extreme happiness with Government announcing public holidays for Gyalbo Losar rather I put the notice to share the information with everyone. Nepal Sherpa Sangh had to work very hard and had to write over one dozen letters to get public holiday for this year Gyalbo Losar. Now we are trying to set up a system which ensures that the Government automatically announces public holiday for each year Gyalbo Losar. Please kindly remember the famous proverb “it is easy to say but difficult to do” ! . Yes I agree with you we can announce a long public holidays once the we have our Sherpa Swayatta Prades in the new constitution of Nepal. Happy Losar to you.
Note: Many Sherpas are not happy with fact that the Sherpa villages within the Ramechhap districts are not included in the Sherpa Swayatta Prades. The President and the General Secretary of Nepal Sherpa Sang is planning to call an emergency meeting of Advisors and Executive Committee within the next few days to discuss the matter.
