In continuing with our annual tradition of celebrating the success of Sherpa graduates, NSSP will be honoring Sherpa graduates from 2009 (and 2008 graduates who were not recognized last year.) Graduates will be recognized during the Losar evening program at the Armenian Church, New York on Saturday, February 27, 2010. NSSP believes that it is important to honor the hard work and academic achievement of Sherpa graduates so that other students will be inspired to follow in their footsteps.
Eligibility criteria:
(i) At least one of the parents has to be a Sherpa
(ii) He/She should have graduated from a four-year undergraduate or graduate institution in the United States in 2009. Students who graduated in 2008 but did not send in their information and hence were not felicitated last year are also requested to submit their information.
