HELP TIBET TO GET IT'S INDEPENDENCE - IN ANY LITTLE WAY YOU CAN.
Demonstrations against the oppressive Chinese communist government are being held all around the WORLD. Support the cause. Support the demonstrators. Support the cause. Join the demonstrations.
We, the Sherpas, have same religion as the Tibetans.
Our forefathers went to Tibet to study Buddhism.
Our brothers go to Tibetan Monasteries in India to learn the Buddhism.
They wear same clothes as us (or we were same clothes as them).
We Pray to the same lord or God (Buddha)
For Buddha's sake
For OUR sake
Let's support the struggle
Freeing Tibet is Saving OUR CULTURE.
It's not politics. It's just common sense.
In New York, come join me in the demonstration at 9 a.m. at 42nd Street and 12th Avenue on Sunday, March 16th, 2008 - that's where the Chinese Consulate is in New York.

Display of solidarity by Himalayan Buddhist community Phayul[Wednesday, March 19, 2008 22:49]
By Tenzin Chodon
Dharamsala, March 19: Deeply concerned with the violent crackdown by the Chinese authorities on the Tibetan protestors in Tibet, almost 700 members of the Himalayan Buddhist Cultural Association from Ladakh (J&K), Lahaul and Spiti (Himachal Pradesh), Uttarkashi, Sikkim, Monpa (Arunachal Pradesh) and Nepal led a peaceful demonstration this morning in the Indian town of Dharamsala.
Showing solidarity and support with the Tibetan people, the association condemned the military action of the Chinese Government for crushing the peaceful protest by Tibetans in Tibet. They strongly urged to immediately stop the ongoing brutal acts of suppression inside Tibet and demanded the release of all Tibetans imprisoned during the recent demonstrations.
Accusing the Chinese Government of broadcasting altered and fabricated news through their own set-up media and not allowing international news channels to cover the real situation inside Tibet, the association requested people from all parts of the world to look into the real picture and not be misled.
The Himalayan Buddhist Cultural Association made an appeal to the Indian Government to allow the ongoing ‘Return March to Tibet’ and support Tibet’s rightful and non-violent struggle to accomplish their goal to return to their own motherland.
Appealing to the Government of India and the International community to interfere in the current issue of Tibet, the association stated that the solution to the issue of Tibet is in the interest of India’s own security. The association asked the Government of India to work on the resolution of the Tibet issue and press upon the Chinese authorities to continue the dialogue with His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
The Association made a request to the International community and the Indian Government to send medical aid to those who were fatally and seriously injured in the recent demonstrations in Tibet saying Chinese authorities have closed down all hospitals except for Chinese army hospitals.
The Himalayan Buddhist Cultural Association (HBCA) is a non-profit humanitarian organization registered under the Government of India. The organization was set up in 1985 to preserve and promote Buddhism in the Himalayan regions of India.
I am honoured to see the Chinese man in the YouTube above speaking up against Chinese government lies and cruelties and seeing the amazing Canadian support for human right and freedom in Tibet. On the contrary, over these last few days we saw that Nepal has badly treated the Tibetan demonstrators who were asking for the freedom and justice and Chinese Government to stop killing in Tibet. Everybody saw pro Tibet human right protests in many countries but probably Nepal was the one country that had been the most undemocratic in dealing with the protestors. It has arrested the largest number and handled the people the very brutally. This reflects how much the Nepalese government needs to improve their officers’ education.
hey dont blame nepal
its give Tibetan shelter and if anything happens to china or something it will affect Nepal and Nepal is small country is not powerful like other and it does want to affect it foreign policy so i dont think Nepal need to improve its officers education and Nepal is going in difficult condition and Tibetian in Nepal is affecting its people and other parts because of tibetan we Sherpa people have to stop mountain climbing get a sense
Very rarely anybody would be happy to be pointed out how he/she is when it comes to something negative. It is normal for Pasangloveyou to feel sensitive about Nepal because it is the nation we belong to. It is for this reason we care how it is doing at every situation. There are lots of examples of Nepalese police brutality and intimidation and official’s ugly behavior. Many have confronted one or another time. Let’s leave it here to keep it at the minimum.
Giving shelter of refuge to Tibetans shouldn’t be substitute for improvement of any country's officer's education (manner and attitude). One can't omit the other although surely they can complement each other. I think there is always room for improvement as there is no limit especially to our inner quality. The refugee problem is an complicated issue worldwide, a big head ache and living problem.
To be supportive of freedom of expressing opinion and human right of ourselves or others is not a question of blame or praise. Yes you are quite right Nepal is a small country and there is a foreign policy to play, nevertheless a big or small country or powerful or weak is not justified to go against justice and correcting action.
What I agree with you totally is that Nepal does go through a difficult period, especially with the election coming up. So they can't have too many added problem going on.
What can Tibetan refugee can do other than their voice heard in front of giant China? Excess to Everest climbing is baned by Chinese pressure not Tibetans when in fact this option of leaving the mountain climbing free should be up to Nepalese Government decision /organization, by keeping the county in order and maintaining stability and security. It should not depend either on Tibetan refugee or Chinese decision. Don't you think so?
