Dear Sherpa Bother's and Sisters
Here i would like to list some of the Sherpa Names you know, who were highly benefited during the royal Gov't. I believe if we agree with the change , than change should have to start from our own family and within our own community. Dear freinds please provide us the names to make our community aware about these opportunist peronalities who have been highly benefited druing thier royal gov't and made our sherpa community betrayed infront of others. We not only have identify them but we have to be aware of these Vigilante's who might be playing some cruel games in back.

I guess, you know better than any other Sherpa who were highly benefited during royal Gov.you gotta come forward and list name of Sherpas who were enjoying the royal power. May be Mr. himal Knows better coz he was supporting the Feb. 1 move. Now days he is fighting for gantantra and end of rajtantra
As far as I know the following individuals were benefited during the Gyane's Gov.
1. Ms. Yankila sherpa and some of her relatives.
2. Ang Gelu Sherpa (A. G. Sherpa, one of well know sherpa royalist and Yankila's Brother In low) Who came to NY last year to arrange warm welcome to Mr. Gyane during his visit to UN but Mr. Gyane could not make that trip.

Mr/Ms an Undentified Democracy
I wonder why you are utilizing your unidentified face under the titled demcracy. If you feel you are right with whatever you are saying then please identify yourself within the sherpa community, why you are hiding your face on the name of demcracy. I believe our sherpa institution has to be never blamed for any cause. IF you you have any personal problem with anybody then come up ahead with your identity. I think this is the concern of each and every individual who are utilizing this site for some information.

What is the point of introducing this thread? Some benefited during the control of the king while other benefited during the control of Girija, Madav Nepal, Surya Bahadur, Junga Bahdur, Deuva, Bhattarai, and all others. Right now some are even benefiting by being in Maoist. If one is sure that those benefactors must be disgraced in public for their monkey bussiness then prove their crime and the public will be the judge and Jury.

Dear Mr Democracy and Gaule
The Critics and Concerns are very necessary to lead our soceity in the right path therefore this thread has been created to analyze the critics given by right person. The only objective of this thread is to recognize those opporunist who is stand-less and not committed should be avoided and those who fought for the Sherpa peoples cause and the movement for democracy should not be discriminated against.
I do agree with the names mentioned above but my only concern is it could be very good if you could come up with your own identity. I don't mind if you know me or not but my only concern is, it is not good enough to blame on other's from the backside.
I mean to say the Beneficiaries during the autocratic Regimes started from 2059 bs;

For one reason or another, I don't think it's a good idea to name certain individual as what they've done is just human, because if presented with an opportunity, many of you would've taken it as well. So lets forget about putting certain individuals in the hall of shame. It only creates further discord and division in our community.
I'm a strong believer in democracy but democracy in Nepal is something I don't trust as they belong to certain individuals. As long as there is Girja, Madav, Deuba or someone similar, nothing is gonna happen. More opportunists will get richer, millionaire leaders will become billionaires... and that means more misery for our motherland.
In the present context and with lack of political knowledge, I don't know what is right and what is wrong. I do know one thing, i.e. democracy is an exercise of people power and it should not be limited to party leaders. Our country moves forward and people will benefit only if we can get rid of these failed leaders. People like Girija and Madav Nepal were given opportunity in the past and they failed and they failed miserably, but why are they still in power??
Nepalese are experiencing only partial democracy, so let's work harder and bring total democracy. We need new leaders to lead our country and we should keep searching until we find a true leader.

Hello Democracy,
Hiding behind the curtains, staying in the dark and pinpointing fingers is an easy thing to do. If you really want to make a positive difference you should be there in Nepal in the battlefield trying to make a positive difference, when history is making a mark, not here gossiping and pointing fingers at people you dont even really know.
Anyways lets get back to the names you pointed above Mrs Yankila Sherpa and Mr Ang Gelbu Sherpa, I would also love to know some of the benefits they have taken while they were in power, and it would also be great at the same time if you could list the achievements made by your own elected representative Bal Badhur during his reign.
Mr dorjee Sherpa if willing please disclose your identity and come upfront openly, and if you agree, and if possible I would like to request Mr Lama Chewang Dai to organize a healthy panel discussion (e talk) between you and me. I would also respect everyone who openly discloses his or her identity while writing and not write anonymously using two or three login ID’s.
Lastly I don’t really care when people like you, Tom, Dick and Harry talks because besides talking,gossiping and arguing there is nothing that you can do. You also don’t even realize that when you point a finger at someone, four of your own fingers are pointing towards yourself.

Democracy,
Before pointing fingers at someone first please list down your own credentials and your achievements. What have you done for our society in the name of humanity and lastly for the country.
Before talking big and judging people please come out openly on this website with your full identity and reveal yourself. You are the one who should be judged and decided at the people’s court, for creating fractions among our society, which is already minute in size. If you can do this then only will people give some weight to your words other wise just another unhappy person complaining about everything.

Who the hell is this democracy, seriously trying to create friciton and aggitations what kind of political background and experience does he have.
Common stop politics, stop complaining, move on and respect people. Like sangay says we are all opportunists and everyone takes good opportunities handed over to them. Who hasen't and who wont I will as well. Congress leaders, Maoist leaders, Panchas, everyone working in Nepal in government to privates sectors do and i guarantee that they will keep doing it. Philosophies and ideologies sounds good in books but very tough practically.
And who are you to blame the kyidug, what have you done for the kyidug.

I have noticed that some Sherpas or Rongbas can be anyone but I see them complaining arguing, and talking bull shit politics on this site. They are trying to show the other sherpas they are the best politicians out here in the west, but truly people don’t even recognize you or will give weight to your words once you are there, at the most you will be able to do once you get out there is act like a puppet or be used for donations, forget elections..
Go out there in Nepal and take part in the forthcoming elections or in the sherpakyidug election if you think you are credible.
Like a man lay it down on the table for us to decide your credibility. If not then start talking about harmony, world peace and appreciating other people’s achievements.

I really like solukosherpa and ramesh ko list. To add on to that list I think no one has benefited more then democracyko Kaka, Au Girija, Mama, Ajayang Madav and Did Achi sherpaw who started this pointless thread. Now democracy is sad that he did not benefit as well. Too bad.

Its a really nice site where we get to discuss on some important issues.But i dun think we are here to blame certain group of people for being benefitted during royal time. why we considering only royal time. i just want to say everyone is oppertunist. hope this thread will not create any conflict among sherpas...because this a time where we should be unite and find place in upcoming constitution assembly where all the sherpa's future is depended.i want to thank everyone in this thread as they have some knowledge about nepal's politics. political awareness for sherpas is real important in today's time.
Past is past so lets leave it..now we should try to ensure our communities' golden future through the changes we have after jana-aandolan 062/63.
