This is so wonderful that our Kyidug is offering to teach our children Sherpa dance. Yes, we must learn our Sherpa dance, write and sing our Sherpa songs, write our history. If we do not, NO ONE WILL.
Please include my name Tsewang Sherpalama, I want to learn Sherpa Shabru. I hope to be able to bring my wife and son as well. What time, and what day! Can it be done on Saturday!

Au Lama Chewang,
Last time I met you, you looked a little older than 15. So you may want to ask Kyidug to be a little flexible with the upper age limit.
On a more serious note, this is a very commendable step being taken by the Board Members. As Au mentioned above, "if we don't NO ONE WILL."

Me! and “Older”?????, Oh common!!!!!! The only difference between 51 & 15 is reversal of numbers, not youth. One can never be to old, but wise to learn Shabru. Beside, I thought older is bolder. What you say?
Seriously, Shabru is the only dance that I know represents the unity amongst the people of a circle. Whenever I participate in Shabru dance, at that moment I truly feel as I belong to my own root.

Please make sure to all our Sherpa, Which day is right day sunday or saturday? you guys saying that dance practice on sunday and at the same time saying saturday so little confused

Dear Nepalaya,
We are offering Nepali & Syabru Dance classes for Children upto age 15 years on Sunday. You can contact Mr. Chhongba Sherpa @ 347-249-8501 for more information about venue and time. We had earlier thought of offering the classes on Saturday too but childrens were not able to make it to classes on Saturday . We have already started the class and if you are interested to bring your child please contact above number.
We also have made an arrangement to pick up and drop them if parents are not able to do so but you have to tell us in advance.

Time: Nepali dance at 1 PM every sunday
Syabru dance at 3 PM every sunday
